Vintage Studio Pottery Plate – Glenshee Pottery, Scotland

A hand-thrown studio pottery plate made by Glenshee Pottery, rooted in the Scottish Highlands and known for its rich, earthy forms and painterly glazes. This piece is finished in a soft mossy green glaze with natural speckling and a hand-painted floral motif, applied with expressive brushwork at the centre. The rim is edged in a deep, iron-rich glaze that gently frames the design.

While it looks beautiful hung on the wall, this piece is equally lovely used for everyday rituals—serving bread, fruit, or seasonal bakes—or styled simply with candles and a few well-chosen objects.
