Vintage Studio Pottery Scalloped Dish

A piece that feels like sea glass and shoreline stones, soft, organic and completely one of a kind.

This beautiful vintage studio pottery dish features a gentle grey speckled glaze with the most stunning fluid blue design flowing across the centre. It reminds me of ink dropped into water, or waves rolling over sand with that dreamy, slightly unpredictable movement. 

The scalloped edge gives it such a lovely rhythm, and the two small looped handles make it feel almost like a miniature serving dish from a cottage kitchen. The rim has that slightly darker, toasted edge where the glaze has pooled, a detail I always love. This is a beautiful piece for serving but would also make a wonderful wall plate.
