An absolutely exquisite vintage studio pottery chamberstick, hand-thrown with the most beautiful blue and sea-green glaze, with hand-painted scalloped detailing around the dish and deep cobalt edging. The handle is particularly special - sweeping down to meet the dish and finished at the top with a wonderful little hand-modelled seashell detail.

The colours and decoration are reminiscent of the seaside - turquoise, inky blue and soft speckled stoneware all coming together in a piece that feels wonderfully coastal in the most sophisticated way. 

Beautiful displayed on a bedside table or mantel with a simple beeswax candle, but equally lovely just as a piece of studio pottery in its own right. Signed to the base.
