Vintage Studio Pottery Soap Dish – Sea-Inspired with Starfish & Fish Motif

A unique hand-thrown studio pottery soap dish, beautifully textured and glazed in tones of seafoam green and sandy beige. Around the rim, hand-carved detailing is punctuated with raised starfish and fish motifs, giving the piece a distinctly coastal character. The glaze has a natural, tidal quality evoking ripples of water and sunlit shallows.

Stamped on the base by the maker (unidentified), this dish is a wonderful example of how British studio potters drew inspiration from the sea and shoreline. With its tactile form and decorative edge, it works equally well as a soap dish, trinket holder, or simply a decorative accent that brings a touch of the coast indoors.
