Vintage Studio Pottery Speckled Blue & Grey ‘Little Grazing Cow Wall Plate’

This beautiful piece stopped me in my tracks. A wonderful, rectangular studio pottery plate finished in the softest speckled grey glaze, framed by a deep inky blue-grey border where the glaze pools and darkens at the edges. A single little grazing cow, head bowed, quietly moving through grass. It feels less like a plate and more like a tiny painting pressed into clay.

It has that gentle countryside stillness I’m always drawn to. A piece that settles into a room and softens it with the promise of Spring. A wonderful addition to a gallery wall, or equally beautiful displayed on its own.
