A beautifully hand-thrown vintage studio pottery plate featuring a loose, expressive rooster design in earthy brown tones. Full of character and movement, this charming piece would be equally at home serving bread, fruit or pastries as it would displayed as a decorative wall plate.

Finished in a softly speckled glaze and signed to the base by the maker, although we have been unable to identify the pottery. A wonderful one-of-a-kind piece with a timeless folk-art feel.
