Vintage Watcombe Pottery ‘Cymru Am Byth’ Slipware Trinket Dish

A charming vintage slipware trinket dish made by Watcombe Pottery, Torquay. Souvenir pieces aren’t something I usually source, but this one felt meant for Hiraeth Vintage, with its Welsh connection and the sweetest hand-painted cottage scene beneath the words “Cymru Am Byth” (“Wales Forever”).

The little house, nestled among trees with its thatched roof, feels so evocative of the Welsh countryside and those timeless, rooted places that inspire hiraeth. With its hand-painted details, polka dot border, and rich slipware glaze, it makes a wonderful piece for holding jewellery, matches, or trinkets.

An unusual and heartfelt find, tying together craft, memory, and place.
