Vintage Welsh Studio Pottery Bowl by Harlech Pottery, 1999

This beautiful studio pottery bowl was handmade in North Wales by Harlech Pottery and is dated 1999 on the base. I was drawn to the soft, painterly quality of the sweeping brushstrokes, pale blue and earthy brown on a speckled stoneware background, it reminds me of the sea. Inside, the spiral of the wheel is still visible, a quiet reminder of the hands that shaped it.

A really beautiful piece, styled simply with a pillar candle or used for berries and granola to romanticise your daily breakfast rituals.
