A beautifully crafted vintage studio pottery honey pot by Betws-y-Coed Pottery in North Wales. This charming beehive form features a looped handle and gently ribbed design, hand-thrown and finished in a soft, honey-toned glaze that perfectly suits its purpose. The looped handle is the perfect shape for tying a bow to it, and gifting to someone with a lovely pot of local honey.
This particular glaze is a rare departure from the more commonly seen blue and white designs produced by the pottery, making it a highly collectible and unusual piece. The warm golden glaze and subtle variation in tone highlight the potter’s wheel-thrown ridges, giving it both texture and visual warmth.
Signed to the base and in excellent condition, it’s a lovely piece of Welsh pottery heritage, perfect. for adding a touch of rustic charm to your breakfast table or kitchen shelf.
